Nothing in these pages should be construed as a declaration or estimate of value for any article. It is not our intention to promote or suggest any value for any item.

Bidders in all auctions should relay strictly on their own inspection of items before bidding. By bidding, on-line or in person, you agree that you are relying only on your own inspection and sense of perceived value.

All sales are final. All items are sold as is with all faults and defects.

Descriptions, when given, in writing or verbally by any person, whether affiliated with or employed by Tipsword Auction Service & Real Estate Broker are intended to differentiate between items and not as actual descriptions to be used as an indicator of value.

We are very proud to offer you only the finest services in the following fields:

• Regularly Scheduled Auctions: We hold regularly scheduled auctions at our Auction Center in Grayslake. See our home page for dates and expected items.
• Auction House consignments: to uphold our high standards we reserve the right to accept or reject your consignment items. We, as a rule, do not accept "Minimum Bids" or "Reserve Bids", nor are your allowed to bid against your own items. Exceptions do apply but must be agreed to with the auctioneer ONLY, and prior to the auction.
• Ebay.com: We can sell your items on ebay.com on a case by case basis. Our experience in auctions and with ebay can help protect you against scams and predators. Due to our costs, this service is recommended only for the very unique and expensive items.
• Appraisals: We can appraise your items or real estate on a per fee basis. Verbal quotes may be offered. We are not licensed appraisers but we can offer you our knowledgeable research and extensive experience.
• Real Estate Broker: We are licensed as a Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois. We are particularly interested in industrial and commercial properties but have had several homes at auction.
